V Rising: How to Get Charged Battery?
V Rising already seemed perfect during the early access period and everyone thought that it can’t get any better. However, Stunlock Studios made it even better by adding new features, bosses, areas, and even some crafting resources in the full game. For example, the new V Rising 1.0 introduced charged batteries that you can use to craft Power Cores, which in turn create Onyx Tears and repair Legendary weapons. All this new content may seem a bit overwhelming to newcomers as the game doesn’t really explain how to get charged battery in V Rising.
If you are also stuck after creating a Fabricator in your V Rising Castle, you are not alone. This article explains all the steps that come before you can start meddling with Power Cores, let’s start:

Blogs Where to Get Depleted Battery in V Rising?

Charged batteries are like bottles of electricity that fuel your Power Cores in V Rising. You can craft these cores by using the Fabricator but it requires 4x Charged Battery and 8x Radium Alloy. While you can find Radium Alloys from tech piles and containers, the charged batteries are nowhere to be found. That’s because the game doesn’t drop charged batteries so easily.
So, the first step is to find a couple of depleted batteries or drained batteries from various sources. The best way to farm depleted batteries is by killing tech enemies like Gattlers, Zappers, Lightning Protectors, and Drillers. You can easily find hordes of these foes in the North Gloomrot region. Alternatively, you can try your luck at Thunderstrike Peak and Stormdrain Hills. Also, most of these enemies will drop Radium Alloys along with Depleted Batteries, so it is a win-win scenario. However, you should only go after this resource after reaching character level 60, as these enemies are quite powerful and are never alone.
Once you have gathered at least 10x Depleted Battery, it is time to fill them with electricity to get charged batteries. So, how to charge depleted batteries?
Blogs V Rising: How to Get Charged Battery?

Okay so now you have your abundant supply of Depleted Batteries, it is time to head to the nearest charging station. Unfortunately, our Vampire lives in a world where electricity sockets aren’t that common. Instead, people and machines harvest the electrical charge from lightning strikes to fill up their batteries; you must do the same.

You can find 4x Lightning Harvesters in Thunderstrike Peak and the same number in Stormdrain Hills. So, the next step is to get on your mount and head to any of these locations. Once you find a Harvester and defeat all guarding enemies, interact with it and select “Charge Battery” to fill up your Depleted Batteries in a few seconds.

You will need at least 10x Depleted Batteries before you can use the Harvester. Also, the Harvester gets overloaded after charging 10x batteries and requires one in-game day cooldown before you can use it again. Fortunately, you can still use other Lightning Harvesters before heading back home. Generally, you can charge up to 60 Depleted Batteries by utilizing all Lightning Harvesters in V Rising.
Blogs Why Did I Die at the Lightning Harvester?

Some players have reported dying when charging their Depleted Batteries. It isn’t a V Rising glitch but a cool physics concept. You might notice aggressive lightning strikes whenever you are close to a Lightning Harvester. You will lose HP whenever you get hit by a random strike.
At the charge, concentration is maximum at the Harvester, so your chances of getting hit are quite high.
Secondly, you are bound to lose large chunks of HP while fighting the guards near any Harvester. Therefore, it is best to always regenerate your HP bar using Blood Essence before you charge your batteries. This way, you won’t die even if you get struck by lightning while the Harvester charges your Depleted Batteries. Alternatively, you don’t have to stick around while the Harvester does its job. So, feel free to leave the station after selecting “Charge Battery,” maintain a safe distance, and come back after a few seconds to retrieve your Charged Batteries.
Blogs How to Use Charged Battery in V Rising?

Charged Batteries is an end-game resource in V Rising. You won’t need such batteries until you have defeated most of the bosses and reached at least character level 60. However, once you unlock recipes that require Power Core which in turn requires Radium Alloy and Charged Batteries, that’s when the fun begins. So, how to use Charged Battery to craft Power Core in V Rising?
After you defeat Voltatia, the Power Master, you will acquire the recipe for Power Cores and the Fabricator station in the Castle Build Menu. The next step is to build a Fabricator inside your castle and interact with it to create Power Cores. If you want to craft your own Radium Alloy, you must combine Sludge-Filled Canisters, Sulphur, and Tech Scrap in your Furnace. Once you have enough Charged Batteries and Radium Alloys, interact with the Fabricator in your base to create Power Cores.
You can then use these Power Cores in various end-game recipes like Onyx Tears, Amulets, EMP, Blue Castle Teleporters, and The Eye of Twilight.
Blogs Conclusion
You need Charged Batteries in V Rising to craft Power Cores which you can use in various end-game recipes. However, no enemy in the game drops a filled battery, and there is no hint or recipe to guide you. Therefore, this article explains how to get Charged Battery in V Rising, where to get Depleted Batteries, and how to use them in crafting. Hopefully, all your questions have been answered.
