Each level has an increasing EVO requirement This
progression is reset for each match and only affects the
Battle Royale mode

Apex Legends Legend Armor

Apex Legends Level-Up Armor

Body Shields are no longer a loot item. Instead a new tier of
your inherent Legend Armor is unlocked each time you level up.

Apex Legends Shield Core

Legend armor is fueled by Shield Cores, which contains the
current shield HP inside your armor. Fallen enemies will
drop their shield cores inside of deathboxes allowing shield
cores to be swapped on the fly.

Apex Legends Overcharge

Picking up a higher level Shield Core will temporarily
overcharge your armor. The extra shield health is held for a
short time before draining to your Legend Armor's max
capacity.
